14 gauge speaker wire good enough?
Will 14 gauge speaker wire be good enough for a system pushing 130 watts RMS on each channel to component speakers? The wire will be run in lengths around 15 feet to the front speakers.
You won't really notice any sound difference, you'd still be good with 16 gauge,
there's no real performance gain with a lower gauge wire.
You'll only be drawing about 5-6 amperes through those wires.

Do I have a good home theater?
A real home theater has a 1080p projector, like the Panasonic PT-AE4000U, and a 120" or larger 2.35 aspect screen. Not a tiny little 52" LCD.
The Oppo BDP-83 is a vastly better Blu-ray player than a PS3.
The Denon AVR-1909 is a nondescript entry-level receiver, nothing special there.
Definitive Technology is second only to Bose in creating overpriced boom-tinkle crap. You could have gotten much better sound for the money with speakers from SVS, B&W, or other manufacturers that put their money into materials and engineering, not marketing.
Was that what you wanted to hear?
Overall, it is a good (not bad, not awesome) home theater. The Denon receiver is fine, but I would recommend upgrading to a seperate amplifier, and preamplifer. I would also advise replacing the HDMI cables with good quality Component cables. The speakers are the weakest link, You would be better off upgrading to some Paradigm Monitors, and a Paradigm subwoofer.
