Can you connect ceiling speakers to Bose 321 system?
In my new house, there are speakers already installed in the ceiling. Can I connect these 4 speakers to my Bose 321 system or do I have to buy a new receiver? Where do I get instructions on how to do that?
The 321 will NOT support those speakers in the ceiling the 321 is a stand alone system. A Bose Lifestyle system (5.1 home theater) can support 14 additional rooms and could possibly link to your 321 as another zone too. Look for a Bose Link connection

Bluetooth’s Advantages are many.
Bluetooth offers lots to offer with an more and more hard market place. Bluetooth aids to bring with it the guarantee of freedom from the cables plus simplicity in networking that has yet to be matchedthrough LAN(Local Area Network).
In the main marketplace, of wireless and handheld gadgets, the closest competitor to Bluetooth is infrared. Infrared holds many important features, although the line of sight it gives doesn’t go through walls or through obstacles like that of the Bluetooth technology.
Unlike infrared, Bluetooth isn’t a line of sight and it offers ranges of up to 100 meters. Bluetooth is also low power and low processing with an overhead protocol. What this means, is that it’s ideal for integration into small battery powered devices. To put it short, the applications withBluetooth are virtually endless.
Bluetooth’s Disadvantages are few, but may be important:
Bluetooth boasts many beneficial functions and onewould be very hard pressed to find downsides when given the current competition. The only real downsides are the data rate and security. Infrared can have data rates of up to 4 MBps, which supplies very fast rates for data transfer, while Bluetooth merely offers 1 MBps.
For this very reason, infrared has yet to be dispensed with completely and is considered by some to be the complimentary technology to that of Bluetooth. Infrared offers inherent security due to its line of sight.
