What do you think about Bose Home Theater Systems?
I'm debating on whether or not to purchase a Bose Home Theater System. I'm just curious, for the people who have already purchased one, are they worth it? They are quite a bit of money and I don't want to get one unless it's something that I won't regret.
Among audio people Bose is a bit of a joke. They are over priced for what they are but not expensive compared to truly good products. You can certainly get a lot better than Bose but in my opinion most of the mass market stuff in a similar price range

Video much better than my old Samsung HD 61" DLP, replaced since it stopped working. Mitsubishi claims that all video images are up-converted to 1080P. Small physical size of this 65" Mitsubishi allowed me to fit it in a cabinet that previously was filled by the 61" TV of similar physical size. All LCD 65" TV's were too large physically to fit in my space, and picture quality is definitely comparable. Well worth having the larger screen size. Note that it is not wall mountable, not relevant for my application.
