I have an Onkyo sr575 receiver. It sounds like it clicks every once in a while. The noise is coming from the receiver itself. any partticular reason why?

There is usually a click when the unit powers on (I also have an Onkyo). If it is periodically clicking after power on, you may have a fault in the power supply. I would bring it in for service.
